An e-foil lifts you clear of the surface; the Y1 Carbon makes that lift controllable. Twenty-four remote gears meter the power, a color LCD tracks speed, battery, and temperature, and speed lock with cruise control holds your pace — no swell required, just water deep enough to fly.
A hydrofoil does not wait for surf. Build a little speed and the wing lifts the hull clear of the water, drag falls away, and a glassy lake works as well as open coast. The 24-gear remote is what makes the learning curve manageable — each step adds a measured amount of thrust, so foil balance comes gradually instead of all at once.
The board body is molded from aviation-grade carbon composite, chosen for the ratio that matters on a foil: high stiffness at low weight. The shell shrugs off touch-downs at speed, stands up to salt and weathering, and keeps the bare board at a manageable 12.5KG — light enough to carry to the waterline without a second pair of hands.
Power delivery is linear from the bottom of the range to the top — no surge, no dead spots. The handset talks to the board over an interference-resistant 2.4G link and runs about 30 hours on a charge of its own, so the remote is never the reason a session ends.
One order covers the full kit — unpack the Y1 Carbon, charge, and fly the same day.
58Ah / 3016Wh ternary lithium 52V replacement battery. 3-hour charge. 60–90 min ride time.

“The carbon finish is stunning in person and the lift characteristics are far smoother than the aluminum foil I used previously. Glides effortlessly at low speed and holds altitude precisely once airborne. A serious piece of kit.”
“Foiling has always felt technical but the Y1 Carbon makes it approachable without dumbing it down. The mast length is perfect for shallow reef entries and the wing balance is exceptional. Zero issues after three months of heavy use.”
“Build quality justifies the price completely. The carbon layup is visibly precise and the hardware connections are tight with no flex. Slight learning curve on takeoff angle but that is the nature of foiling, not a product flaw.”
“Invested in the Carbon after renting a budget foil for two seasons. The difference in responsiveness is dramatic. Smooth, quiet, and the sensation of flying above the water never gets old. Delivery was handled with proper care.”
